By using Shortmint you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Shortmint writes a script from your topic, generates pictures and a voiceover, and renders a short video you can download or post. Features and free-plan limits may change as the service grows.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for what is made and posted with it. Keep your login private, and tell us at contact@video.com if you think someone else is using it.

Your content

The topics you type and the videos made from them are yours. You give us permission to process and store them only as needed to run the service for you. You're responsible for checking a video before you publish it, including that it's accurate and that you have the right to use any images or music you upload.

What you may not do

Make content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or that impersonates a real person.
Make misleading medical, financial or news content presented as fact.
Try to get around free-plan limits, overload the service, or access other people's accounts or data.
Break the rules of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or any other platform you post to.

We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

AI-generated content

Scripts, images and voices are made by AI and can contain mistakes. Review every video before it goes public. Some platforms ask you to label AI-generated content, and following their rules is up to you.

Connected accounts

When you connect a social account, we act on your behalf only as you set up. You can disconnect at any time. Your use of those platforms stays subject to their own terms.

Paid plans

The free plan costs nothing. If we offer paid plans, their price and limits will be shown before you pay, and these terms will be updated with billing and refund details.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that any video will get views.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or anything that happens to your social accounts because of content you chose to publish.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and tell signed-in users about big changes before they apply.
